After Marrying a Husband Who Brings Good Fortune

The new story, Farming Days with My Handsome Husband from a Poor Family, is now online. Come check it out.

Blurb:

Song Sheng transmigrates and becomes a poor scholar in Songjia Village who happens to share his name. He also has a handsome, delicate-featured husband.

The poor scholar Song Sheng is in poor health and has failed the xiucai exams three times. His studies have left the family too poor to afford food, so his elder and second uncles' families are arguing over splitting the household.

Only his little husband quietly returned to his parents' home and borrowed money to support his studies.

But the original Song Sheng never passed the exams, even after trying into his thirties. He kept blaming his family, gradually became a heavy drinker, and would beat people when drunk. His little husband suffered alongside him and died young in bed after falling ill.

Song Sheng thinks that since he's taken over the man's body, he has to take responsibility for his life. He'll keep studying, and he'll cherish his little husband.

He recalls the original owner's memories from his previous life and checks his current progress bar...

It's his wedding night.

My name is Lu Qing. I was born a ge'er, the least valued kind of person. The mole at the corner of my eye was too faint, and my father died early, so people in the village called me a jinx. I was past sixteen and still unmarried, so my family had no choice but to marry me off to the desperately poor Song family.

I thought I'd suffer after marrying into that family, but my husband treated me so well. He bought me a warming pot for winter and made me mung bean soup in summer. I love him so much.

People in the village used to call me a jinx, but now they say I bring my husband good fortune.

Since I married him, my husband has had great success in his studies. I became the wife of a xiucai, then the wife of a juren. My husband is wonderful. I want to marry him again in my next life.

P.S. Mpreg, top protagonist, third-person narration.

Coming soon: Farming Days with My Childhood Husband

After Cheng Su dies, he transmigrates into a book as a ten-year-old boy from a landlord's family. He also has a child husband five years older than him.

His father and eight older sisters dote on him, and he's the only boy in the family. He even has a husband already waiting for him. Cheng Su thinks he can finally spend this life without working a 996 schedule, just lying flat and living like a lazy fish.

But before long, disaster strikes the Cheng family. In a single night, they lose everything and are left with only a few dozen acres of barren fields. Looking at his father, who's past fifty, a string of delicate concubines, and his husband's striking looks, Cheng Su has no choice but to shoulder the burden of supporting the family.

At first, all he does is farm, take the imperial exams, and support his family. Then, before he knows it, he becomes the Crown Prince's tutor and the emperor's teacher.

Cheng Yuanwai's first wife died young. He took a string of concubines, but they gave birth only to daughters. With no one to inherit his vast estate, he was so worried his hair nearly fell out. Then a fortune-teller came up with a plan: find his son a child husband to raise first.

Lin Xuan was a ge'er from a poor family with too many children. When his parents heard about it, they brought him to the Cheng family in the middle of the night and sold him to them.

A year later, the young master was born. Lin Xuan thought his good days were over, but the Cheng family didn't send him away.

The young master grew up day by day, becoming more and more handsome. As he approached the age for betrothal, Lin Xuan grew sad. He was much older than the young master and wasn't good enough for him. Once the young master was engaged, Lin Xuan would have nowhere left in the household.

But Lin Xuan waited and waited, only to discover that the person the young master was betrothed to was him.

P.S. Younger top, five-year age gap, stunning bottom, mpreg later. The title may change.
