In my memories, there is an endless field of ice, where the sunlight reflects nothing but a cold, hard gleam... Falling snow blurs more than just my vision; it clouds the soul that was once so clear. Ice three feet deep freezes more than all living things; it freezes the heart that once beat within me. I want to say the world abandoned me, but... this world never belonged to me in the first place... Now that you have cast me out completely, I don't know if there is anywhere left for me... Except that field of ice... Only that field of ice. At the bottom of the frozen lake, a red lotus gently sways and dances. Is it waiting...? In the desolate sky, the weathered sound of a bell echoes and lingers, still drifting... A little child waits for that day... the day of his salvation?
