East and West

A story about one trainee accompanying another at an idol survival show summer camp Be A survival-show setting with the format of Produce 101 When she opened her eyes and saw the little cake and the "candles," Tian Siyuan felt dazed for a moment. How long had it been since she received a cake on this day? Even she couldn't remember. Shu Shuangcheng held up the "candle" and urged her, "Siyuan, hurry and make a wish!" Shu Shuangcheng hadn't managed to buy any candles, so she borrowed a string of tiny decorative lights from the clerk at a convenience store. The battery-powered lights had a flashing button, and she liked them very much. She wrapped part of the string around the top half of a pen, tucked the extra lights into her sleeve, then pressed the button, trying to create the effect of flickering candlelight. Tian Siyuan obediently closed her eyes and clasped her hands together. They say wishes won't come true if you say them out loud, she thought. In the cold, empty practice room, facing a simple birthday cake, the twinkling lights she couldn't block out even with her eyes closed, and the eager gaze from across the cake, Tian Siyuan parted her lips and said: "I wish the show would end soon." Possible points of concern: 1. A slice-of-life, Produce 101-style survival show with little in the way of writing, logic, or plot 2. This is not a feel-good story, and it ends in tragedy 4. Updates are irregular, and chapter lengths are irregular 5. To be added Theme: Stay clearheaded when facing problems, and keep an optimistic outlook on life
