New novel coming soon: The Seventh Prince, blurb below ↓
Synopsis:
Dali's perspective
I'm Dali, a tabby cat blessed above all others between heaven and earth!
I was born mighty and robust (fat, no, that's not it), with a nimble body!
My fur is glossy, and my claws and fangs are sharp.
Originally, with my human servant Su Tang by my side, I lived a comfortable and carefree life.
Later, after Su Tang married that fierce human, everything changed.
Su Tang wouldn't let me sleep on the rafters in her room anymore, and something even more frightening happened.
I used to think Su Tang was the only person who could understand what I said. Later, I discovered that there were many people in this world who could understand animals.
And these people had been protecting a secret all along, a secret about resurrection.
Su Tang's perspective
Su Tang is as beautiful as a graceful crabapple blossom, just as her name suggests.
Unfortunately, she was unlucky. Her parents died when she was young, and she had to make a living with the family's old and young servants.
But she never expected her aunt by marriage to be so wicked. While her uncle was away on a business trip, she tried to sell Su Tang as a concubine to a debauched young man in the city.
Luckily, Su Tang heard the civet cat's warning and fled in the middle of the night. But just as she reached the gate, someone caught her red-handed.
The man who stopped her was both handsome and fierce. He drew a long saber from his robes with one hand and took out a betrothal document with the other.
He asked: Would you marry me?
He was handsome and held a high official rank, and they had some history together.
Su Tang: Yes! I'll marry you right now!
She just hadn't expected being a marquess's wife to be so difficult. She had to fend off love rivals and save her husband.
Fortunately, Su Tang understood the language of all beasts and managed to escape danger time and again.
But when the marquess saw his delicate wife commanding a whole pack of wild animals, he was stunned.
"My lady, is there something you're hiding from me?"
Ji Chengzhao's perspective
His father and the elders of his family were falsely accused and died miserably in prison. The long night seemed endless, and Ji Chengzhao resented the injustice of fate.
Once a celebrated young gentleman of the capital, he had now become a demon of slaughter.
He thought he would spend the rest of his life in hell, but a timid girl always lit a lamp to guide him back to the human world.
Brother Zhaozhao, don't be afraid. Tang'er will stay with you!
Reading Guide
1. The heroine may be weak in combat, but she has a special ability: adorable pets and wild animals are everywhere.
2. The male lead and his love rival have no romantic storyline whatsoever.
3. Content note: The person originally intended to be engaged to the heroine in Brother Zhaozhao's family was his younger brother, but the engagement never actually happened.
4. Sweet romance, one-on-one pairing.
5. Updates five days a week, with two days for revisions. Usually posted before eleven at night. If anything comes up, I'll let you know in advance.
6. The story is a slow burn. If you pass by, please add it to your favorites! It'll get nice and hefty as you follow along.
New novel coming soon: The Seventh Prince
After transmigrating into the body of the seventh prince of the Great Xia Kingdom, the miserable corporate drone Li Siyu began living a life of luxury she had never dared dream of.
There was only one problem: she was a woman, but had to pretend to be a man.
Still, she could put up with it for the sake of a rich life.
She planned to wait until the old emperor kicked the bucket, then happily retire to her fief as an idle prince.
Who could have guessed that the imperial princes would all die before him, thanks to the ferocity of the palace intrigues?
Staring at the throne of the crown prince the old emperor had sent her, Li Siyu was caught between a rock and a hard place.
Accept it, and she'd wield power over everyone.
Refuse, and she'd lose her head today.
When Han Chong, Prince of Mobei, came to the capital to report on his duties, he hadn't even entered the imperial city before hearing that the seventh prince was handsome and graceful, and a frequent visitor to the capital's pleasure quarters.
The Prince of Mobei was a man of strategy and had won countless military honors. He looked down on a pampered pretty boy like the seventh prince from the bottom of his heart.
But fate brought them together again and again, and he soon fell in love.
The Prince of Mobei was decisive and ruthless. He had just convinced himself he was gay when he unexpectedly discovered that the seventh prince was a woman.
What was there to wait for?
The Prince of Mobei had already prepared their bridal chamber.
But he hadn't expected to be too late: the seventh prince had become crown prince.
That wouldn't stump the determined Prince of Mobei. So what if she was the crown prince? He'd dare marry her even if she were the emperor.
But what do you mean Li Siyu doesn't want to marry him?
The mighty, imperious Prince of Mobei had never suffered a defeat like this.
So he turned into a jealous maniac.
He got jealous of Siyu's study companion.
He got jealous of Siyu's playmate.
He even got jealous of the dog in Siyu's residence.
1. One-on-one pairing. Does the male lead count as a face-slapping character? There's a little coercion, so read with caution if that's a dealbreaker.
2. The male lead isn't a good person in the traditional sense.
3. There will be premarital sex, so read with caution if that's a dealbreaker.
4. The author usually updates five days a week and takes two days off. If anything comes up, I'll let you know in advance.
Theme: Even in adversity, keep hope in your heart
Tsk, tsk, tsk~ I wanted to see animals talking, but the result was a house fight, and a soft heroine.
The introduction is pretty good, I'll collect it first and then talk about it.
Nice! But why are there no collections and comments?
"It's itchy," it's a big bug for the author~ Sick
"Ji Chengzhao" caught a big bug for the author~ It should be that his father Ji Yunkai is the teacher of the princes
The male protagonist finally confronts Maomao hahaha
It's probably disguised, but animals can smell it.
Da Li is really a magical cat
Love it, Dali has a new map
Keep up the good work, author!
