After the Frail Little Fairy Picked Up a Brick

Ming Yi, the frail granddaughter of the master of Wanfa Peak in the Wuji Sect, has always lived a pampered, carefree life. In the eyes of the sect, she's the very picture of a little fairy. Until the day Ming Yi chooses her bonded magical treasure. With drums beating and firecrackers popping, everyone watches with bated breath. Will the little fairy choose a ribbon, a hairpin, or a guqin? In the next instant, a brick flies out of the Wanfa Pavilion and hurtles toward Ming Yi. Ming Yi: "..." Everyone from Wanfa Peak: "..." The senior disciples of Wanfa Peak have always treated their junior sister Ming Yi like a little fairy who needs to be cherished. But after she gets her hands on that brick, her image as a little fairy crashes straight into the eighteenth level of hell. A monster charges right at them. "Junior Sister, get behind me!" But Ming Yi rushes forward and smacks the monster straight to the Western Paradise with one swing of her brick. A spoiled young master from the neighboring sect makes a pass at her. "Junior Sister, hurry and leave. We'll deal with him!" Ming Yi smiles over her shoulder. While the young master is still stunned, she sends him flying into the mountain across from them. He stays stuck there for ages. Then, during the sect competition, the neighboring sect sends tens of thousands of disciples to challenge them for their territory. Everyone from the Wuji Sect watches eagerly as the battle maniacs of Wanfa Peak pull out some unexpected tricks. Before the eyes of the crowd, a delicate little fairy, as frail as a willow in the breeze, steps forward. Amid the scornful laughter, the little fairy pulls out a brick-style Great Wall stretching ten thousand li and hurls it at the enemy army! She sweeps away the entire army. All falls silent... [What the heck, you lunatics from Wanfa Peak! Give us back our little fairy Ming Yi!] [Why do I think the little fairy with a brick is kind of cute...?] [I think so too, which means there's no hope for the Wuji Sect's sense of taste, QAQ] During a sect trial, Wanfa Peak joins the other peaks on a mission to fight a ten-thousand-year-old demon serpent inside an illusion. They know their junior sister is terrified of snakes, but with her brick in hand, she's invincible! So when she faces the illusion's demon serpent head-on, Ming Yi gracefully draws her brick and holds it in front of herself, muttering: "You can't see me, you can't see me..."
