Me in Ancient Times

[Historical BL farming story; the title and blurb may change] Meng Shujing, a middle school math teacher, transmigrates to ancient times and becomes the third son of the Meng family. He has two older sisters and two younger sisters, and the whole family is desperately poor. His only golden finger is the online courses in Chinese painting and calligraphy he bought just before transmigrating. They run for a year: calligraphy lessons on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, Chinese painting lessons on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and lifetime replay access after the course ends. With nothing to do late at night, Meng Shujing takes up painting and calligraphy for fun. He plans to sell some of his work to earn a little extra money, but one small sale unexpectedly makes him famous. Once famous, everything he does seems extraordinary. Even the stories he writes are said to contain hidden meanings. * Master Jinshu excels at both calligraphy and painting, and his reputation is known throughout the land. Countless people seek out his art and his writings alike. In these troubled times, some even say, "Whoever wins Jinshu wins the world." * Having only just learned traditional characters and barely understanding classical Chinese, Meng Shujing tries hard to keep his secret identity under wraps. But his man treats Master Jinshu as a teacher, speaking of him with the utmost respect and staying up late to study his writings. That's going too far! Message: Change your life by keeping your feet firmly on the ground.
