The Little Fortune-Telling Immortal

There’s a little immortal~ No work, no worries, all fun and freedom! "Waiter, the bill!" "You really are something. You dip one guokui flatbread in three bowls of sauce. Aren’t you afraid it’ll make you sick? And you still owe for last month’s liquor!" b(￣▽￣)d Uh... With little skill and an empty purse, I now carry my fortune-telling banner from street to street, earning a little money for wine~ "Oh dear, you’re in mortal danger tonight, client. Let me avert it!" "Young master, wait! Your brow is dark. Your life is in danger!" "Young general, don’t pursue a retreating enemy in tomorrow’s battle! I guarantee you’ll live to ninety-nine!" In the cold, grim King of Fengdu’s Hall of the Underworld, "Your Highness! Something terrible has happened. We haven’t been able to collect any souls lately!" "Your Highness! The Book of Life and Death has started changing by itself for some reason!" So the stern-faced King of the Underworld, dressed all in black, appeared in front of the fortune-telling stall. His long fingers held a fortune stick as he snorted. "Boy, tell your own fortune. Find out how much longer you have to live." But there was no reply. When he went closer to look, the real culprit had long since run away! Only a puppet remained in front of the stall. Three large characters appeared on the puppet: "I! Was! Wrong!" The King of the Underworld crushed the slip of paper in his fist, then ground his teeth and glowered. "Just wait. I’ll make sure you get a proper death!" Many years later, the little immortal lay in the King of Fengdu’s bed, crying and gasping for breath. "N-no more!" "I can’t take it! I’m going to die!" The King of the Underworld pinned him down without a word and said gently, "You need to die a few more times before you learn your lesson!"
