Lively and charming, the lovely Second Miss Liu refuses to enter a marriage arranged for business reasons. She runs away from home to earn a living and support herself, rents a place, and meets her calm, unflappable landlady, who is as solid as reinforced concrete. What she never expected was that her landlady would also turn out to be her direct supervisor! Well, if she can win her landlady over, won't that mean she can stop paying rent?~
Little does she know, it was all planned from the start! Second Miss Liu has no idea she's been sold out!
Liu Xianxuan, dressed in a cool, revealing outfit, strikes a supermodel pose: Nian Nian~ Do I look pretty?
Nian Daijin remains unruffled and answers honestly: Xianxian, you've inherited and blended your family's genes very well.
Liu Xianxuan speaks slowly but firmly: "Nian Nian, I can be hurt, I can be deceived, and I can even disappear. But I can't lose heart, muddle through life, or live forever in the past while ignoring the light right outside the window. That would only make my family worry and wear themselves out, while leaving me miserable and heartbroken, with nothing else to live for."
Nian Daijin feels a connection in her words. She too has carried scars in her heart, and she too refuses to give up on embracing the sunshine. Perhaps fate really does have its designs? Nian Daijin doesn't know, and doesn't believe in such things. She only knows that right now, she loves the young woman in her arms.
Theme: No matter what lies in the past, keep your heart turned toward the sun and grow brilliantly and freely!
