I Became a Star in the Police Force with the Literary Master System

[A quick recommendation for the Hagi fic currently being updated next door, “How to Get a Happy Ending with My Dead Boyfriend Hagiwara,” and another childhood-friends fic featuring two members of the police academy group, “My Whole Family Are Close-Combat Swordsmen, Except Me” and “The Scientific World of Detective Conan, Starting with Mio.” Humbly hoping you’ll add them to your reading list _(:з"∠)_] Blurb: After being reincarnated for the second time, I finally got the golden finger I’d been waiting for: a Literary Genius Development System dedicated to cultivating a new generation of literary masters. I was very moved, then rejected it without a second thought. You’ve got to be kidding! My life goal this time around is to kick Vodka in the face, punch Gin, and take those two bastards down! What’s a Literary Genius Development System doing here? Later, when I became “a traitorous fake liquor who defected from the liquor distillery” and “a rising star in law enforcement,” the System planted its hands on its hips and declared smugly, “So, tell me, isn’t this System amazing?” I nodded furiously, then asked a question from the depths of my soul: “System, do you remember that you’re a Literary Genius Development System?” System: “...Hehe!” Mazda, the male lead, Jianbing: That’s it? Aren’t I the male lead? Where’s my main-character treatment?! Reading Guide: 1. The main story is in first person, with a one-on-one romance. The pairing is the one mentioned above. 2. I wrote this story for Matsuda. The first time I watched the special episode “The 1200 Million Hostages,” which shook the Metropolitan Police Department to its core, I didn’t feel much at the beginning. But after watching the whole thing, Matsuda became the one I couldn’t forget, my white moonlight for the next twenty years. When I went back and listened to Rina’s song playing at the start of the special, it felt like she was singing my thoughts: I can’t stop my love for you. Theme: Cherish the hard-won gift of life and make it a bright, brilliant one.
