"General of the Cloud Banner, loyal to the emperor and devoted to his country, is a man of noble character. We hereby grant him marriage to Princess Shao'an. The wedding shall take place on an auspicious day. So decrees the emperor!"
After receiving the imperial decree, Gu Musheng, who was disguised as a man, hid in a corner and beat her chest, close to tears.
One day, Gu Musheng picked up her bedding and headed to the study.
The princess: "Tired? Let me massage your shoulders."
Gu Musheng: "I wouldn't dare, Your Highness."
The princess: "I like you."
Gu Musheng: "I deserve to die!"
The princess: "I know you're a woman, but I like you."
Gu Musheng: "I... What?!"
The princess: "Close your mouth and go back to bed."
Gu Musheng: "As you command."
