I already had the outline for this before Twelve Nights was finished, but for a lot of reasons (mostly laziness), I never got around to writing it. Someone brought it up again recently, and I figured I might as well finish it properly (even though I’m no perfectionist). Since I’m short on characters (and the problem is pretty serious), I have to consider whether to write a sequel or a companion story. But there shouldn’t be a problem if it’s just a prologue, so I thought I’d give it a try regardless. (I feel kind of guilty celebrating the 20th anniversary of Push the Wall with something like this...)
