An ancient architecture restoration specialist and an artificial intelligence expert
1.
After her parents passed away, He Jin was left all alone. She once loved someone so deeply that she lost herself in him. No matter how often people said she was after his wealth and status, she never changed.
It wasn't until he suddenly got engaged to another woman that she finally resolved to end this doomed relationship and become herself again.
When they met again, one was an ancient architecture restoration specialist working on cultural preservation projects, while the other was a social sponsor of cultural preservation.
Everyone who knew their story assumed He Jin had returned to Xicheng for Song Qing.
Song Qing thought so too.
2.
At the banquet, Song Qing looked down arrogantly at He Jin as she walked slowly into the ballroom. He waited for her to back down and apologize.
She smiled as she walked toward him, but stopped a few steps away.
She was dancing in the center of the ballroom with a tall, slender man with black hair and blue eyes.
He was an artificial intelligence expert who had only recently returned to China. The Song family was trying to secure a partnership with his lab.
He ignored the sudden flicker of panic in his heart, convinced that He Jin was only testing him.
3.
Later, seeing the cool, distant look on He Jin's face, seeing the lack of love or hatred in her eyes,
Song Qing finally couldn't hold back and cornered her in a secluded spot.
"A Jin, come back to me. Can't we go back to the way we were?"
"Mr. Song, the old wound has scabbed over. You and I have nothing to do with each other anymore."
Song Qing gripped her wrist tightly, a hint of madness in his eyes. "He Jin, I'm not asking you."
Huo Weizhen silently appeared behind He Jin. He put his arms around her and pried Song Qing's hand away with irresistible force.
"I don't think Jinjin has anything to discuss with Mr. Song."
4.
After Huo Weizhen joined Xida University, he gave an interview.
The interviewer asked, "Professor Huo, what do you believe in?"
Without hesitation, Huo Weizhen replied, "He Jin."
The interviewer stared at him in a daze. "What?"
Huo Weizhen said with restrained pride, "The woman I love. An ancient architecture restoration specialist, a woman of strength who gives me strength as well."
Everyone who watched the interview later knew that Professor Huo was a devoted He Jin supremacist.
