As a Dazai Cosplayer, I Got the Canary's Script

[1]

At a convention, Tsuji Shuuji, cosplaying Dazai Osamu, had the misfortune of transmigrating.

He also got a very trendy character profile and a System named "Literary Master."

The System told him he had to follow the general plot of the original story and earn the approval of Dazai.

Tsuji on the outside: Smiling :)

Tsuji on the inside: How can a Dazai cosplayer not cause trouble?

So, using the "Canary Dazai" starter card, Tsuji kept adding one setting after another to his character.

And then a gentle boy appeared before everyone's eyes: blind in his right eye, plagued by headaches and memory loss, and constantly struggling against death.

He was just so wonderful that people couldn't help but lay everything at his feet.

Recently, a familiar new face joined the detective agency.

He had a delicate, frail face and a heartbreaking past, yet had never lost his heart, clear as glass.

Everyone was shocked: Could a "Dazai Osamu" like this really exist?

The real Tsuji: Nobody could dislike this kind of "Dazai Osamu." I feel the same way.

Before You Read:

* Double Dazai pairing, written because there wasn't enough fanfiction. Mainly first person.

* This is my take on Dazai. The author isn't very smart, so this Dazai might not be too bright either (not really).

Think of him as an original protagonist if you like. If that's not your thing, please don't read.

Theme: Fallen leaves return to their roots
