The Grand Exam: Coming in Last Is Good Enough

Coming soon: Getting Swept into the Throne by My Subordinates. Synopsis: What do you do when your subordinates are too capable?! A side-by-side comparison of two exam candidates isn't so scary. If you lack the brains, just make it up with a golden thigh. From the same family, the male lead comes from a tragic background: an orphan raised by his widowed mother. He waits for the chance to make a name for himself, only to be eagerly claimed as a pupil by a high-ranking official, and to have a junior schoolmate and a fiancée fall into his lap... Lin Lang, who transmigrated here, is destined to become a little landlord someday, a chubby little guy. His parents are loving and in good health. He has an older brother and a younger sister. All Lin Lang has to do is grow up, and he'll be a little landlord in the future. A science student in his previous life, Lin Lang truly doesn't want to take the imperial examinations. He only wants to cling to someone else's golden thigh. Unfortunately, he has a father who pushes him to study. His father doesn't study himself, but insists his son do it. Lin Lang sighs in resignation: "With every imperial exam, all I want is to place just above the bottom. I wouldn't dare hope for anything more!" Later, after latching onto a 'golden thigh,' Lin Lang wins without lifting a finger. Theme: A life of striving.
