*Innocent, naive beauty bottom x tall, muscular, dark-skinned hunter top*
The strongest hunter in Luohe Village had taken a wife.
When the village girls heard the news, many of them secretly breathed a sigh of relief. It was no wonder: the hunter was tall and muscular, with dark skin and a scar running from his brow to beneath his eye. He looked so fearsome that people easily overlooked his handsome, rugged features.
If the girls accidentally met his gaze, they would nervously look away. They couldn't imagine having to spend day and night with him after marriage.
Some women, however, were attracted to his height and build. He could bring home several wild birds every few days, and he had no other relatives, which meant fewer hassles and disputes. Every now and then, they would catch a glimpse of the bulge in his trousers, and their faces would flush as their thoughts began to wander.
But the hunter was thoroughly clueless about romance. If a delicate young woman fell right in front of him, he would calmly use a stick to help her up, then quickly retreat several meters. If she tried to cling to him, he would furrow his thick brows and glare at her. She would then leave sheepishly, not daring to push her luck.
Now that he had actually taken a wife, the men in the village secretly laughed at him, saying, "The old tree has finally bloomed."
But the hunter didn't care what anyone thought. He was busy looking after the fair-skinned wife he'd just brought home.
He had found his little wife by the roadside, among a group of people being sold with ropes around them. He hadn't meant to get involved and was striding away when he felt the faintest tug on his trouser leg.
The one tugging at him blinked up at him timidly. His clothes and face were covered in grime, but his eyes were exceptionally bright. The hunter found himself unable to walk away. He paid two taels and five qian for him and took him home.
On the way, "Two taels and five" edged closer and asked in a voice as soft as a mosquito's buzz how he could repay him.
The hunter's mind went blank. "I need a wife."
