Roommate's blunder | She loves good looks after work, and sets her sights on the boss's own son ^^

By a twist of fate, Wen Kui ends up living with her employer's son.

The older son her employer describes is impossibly ill-behaved, so rebellious that he gives everyone a headache, and barely speaks Chinese.

Wen Kui expects a high schooler in the US with a head full of chuunibyou ideas, wasting his days and saying nothing but f*ck and damn.

When she meets Shen Zhaoye in person, Wen Kui nearly doubts her own ears.

He is nothing like the person her employer described.

Shen Zhaoye is 192 centimeters tall, around her age, with a pair of captivating blue eyes. He's very polite, and knows exactly how to use his good looks to his advantage.

For example, he tells her outright that he's returned to China without telling his family, has no money, and will really end up on the streets if she's kicked him out. Even though they're living in a house owned by Shen Zhaoye, after managing to stay, he takes over cooking all three meals for Wen Kui. His cooking skills, which he's learning from scratch, improve at a dizzying pace, and Wen Kui eats to her heart's content.

But before long, Wen Kui does get a taste of his terrible behavior.

Wen Kui tugs at the white tie wrapped around both her hands and snaps in a low voice, "What are you doing?"

Shen Zhaoye tilts his head and smiles sweetly, leaning close to kiss her. In English, he asks, "Didn't you say last night that you liked it this way?"

It turns out that giving in to good looks comes at a price.

After accidentally sleeping with Shen Zhaoye for real, Wen Kui is so nervous that she avoids going home to face him for two or three days.

Then, at an important strategy meeting, Wen Kui comes to the CEO's office to deliver some documents and sees someone ask Shen Zhaoye, who's just shown up, "What made you suddenly decide to come work at the company?"

Shen Zhaoye smiles softly, his enchanting blue eyes curving as he spots Wen Kui darting away to hide. He answers the person in English:

"I'm here to catch a cat."
