In the first level, he meets another player who can't see a status panel and doesn't take up a player slot. The System immediately assigns him a role, and he gets himself a sweet little wife.
In the games that follow, he keeps getting dealt the husband-and-wife script, forced to take on a lingering debt from the past.

When he leads them by the hand, their eyes curve into a smile, and they look as sweet and innocent as an angel. But sometimes they're the engine behind a complete party wipe, sitting atop a pile of bones and laughing wildly like a beautiful demon who has lived for a thousand years.
