That night, Yumuxiu propped his head lazily on one hand and stared at the ugly, unimpressive package of feet that looked just like those of his people, lost in thought.

After a long while, he smiled slowly. His whole face was like a flowering crabapple, his lowered eyes dark and languid. This was the first time anyone had dared to provoke him. He loved it. :)

Later, a spoonful of peeled crab meat, a bowl of soup simmered for hours, and a flower garden bought to make him happy. The little junior brother's curved eyes were pure and lovely, and his repeated calls of "Senior Brother" stirred forbidden thoughts in him. The first time Shi Libai saw swans, he was sitting on a park bench with Xie Yanqing. Before them, black and white swans crossed their necks on the lake, their elegant, magnificent forms reflected in the boys' eyes. Little Xie Yanqing took his hand and said, "Libai, I want to become the greatest ballet dancer in the world."

At the time, Shi Libai stared at him, bewildered, and raised both hands to show he didn't mind. He would support him.

Xie Yanqing smiled softly, knowing that this little fool might not even know what ballet was.

Later, after they parted ways in middle school, Shi Libai often thought of the serious look in Xie Yanqing's eyes as he watched the black swans that day. After that, the two spent all their time together in the practice room. Just as promised, Xie Yanqing trained Shi Libai into a bewitching devil and an immaculate angel on stage, turning a clumsy swan into a true white swan.
