Old loves and new, a choice that leaves women torn.
A new work by Huoyan. The subject matter is a minefield, so expect plenty of outrageously dramatic twists. Read with caution.
My Nesting Marriage has been published. Buy it on Dangdang.
Note, October 8, 2013: Those who know Huoyan know that a lot happened in my family some time ago. Because of that, I just wasn't in the right state of mind to keep writing, so all my stories went on hiatus at once, and Shore's End was rushed to a conclusion. As a result, the ending felt very hasty, and many readers weren't happy with it. I wasn't happy with it either, so I've decided to revise it carefully. The revised content will be posted directly in the VIP chapters, so readers who have already purchased them won't have to buy them again.
I want to thank everyone for your continued support and understanding. Without it, Huoyan wouldn't have been able to keep going. Thank you all!
I also want to thank my editor, Cao, for giving me a chance to publish just as Shore's End was nearing completion and I was dealing with one setback after another. It also gave me a way to make both versions work. Starting with Chapter 19, the online version will be revised to focus more on Xu Dongyang, while the published version will give Gu Yuan a happy ending.
I hope you all have a good day every day. May you be happy and healthy!

Theme:
Marriage is more of a matter of two families than just love. The heroine herself seeks stability, and they broke up with Xu because he couldn't give her a sense of security. She also expressed her attitude and divorced Gu. It can only be said that Gu's idea of pursuing divorce after divorce is too naive.
In fact, the reason why I think the ending is fast is probably because of the comparison with the plot in the process. If it were not exciting, I would definitely not feel that the ending was too hasty. As for whether it is Gu or Xu, if they had confessed from the beginning that the child was Xu's, it would still be possible for Gu and the heroine, but if they did not confess, even reasonable elders would not be able to accept it. Unless they have another child of their own, these are not available. To be realistic, Gu cannot live with the heroine for the rest of his life. The heroine cannot be said to be selfish. She originally chose to have a child after she broke up with Xu, and the child was just an unexpected result. Later, when they met, the child became an inextricable knot. It was not so much the question of whom to love, but the social customs and prejudices that gradually pushed the heroine towards Xu.
I think this ending is very good. Firstly, Su Yao still loves Xu Dongyang from the bottom of her heart, and her mood has always been affected by Xu. Secondly, she has a child with Xu Dongyang. Thirdly, Xu Dongyang has changed a lot and made a promise to be with her. Fourthly, Gu Yuan's family can no longer accept Su Yao. No matter from every aspect, she should choose Xu Dongyang.
I just watched the ending and it turned out that I was still with the boy, so I didn't watch the previous ones.
I feel so sad and the writing is very realistic
In fact, the details may not stand up to scrutiny, but the article can be written in such a way that everyone is scrambling to choose the protagonist to express their attitude. This is the success of the author's writing. Everyone is very engaged in reading it, haha!
Personally, I think the heroine is very selfish, and I don't like women with this kind of personality.
I don't like the heroine's character
Will you post the ending of the physical book here?
I bought the physical book. Compared with the ending of the online version, I still like the ending. Maybe it's the hope that the first love will have a happy ending, maybe it's the hope that love will last forever, maybe it's the hope that lovers will reunite...
