The Game

Blurb: Warnings: 1. There will be some physical conflict early on. Don't read if that's not for you. 2. They clash before they fall in love. Don't read if you only want sweet flirting. (I'm only aiming for thrills with this one. Don't read if you have a weak heart.) Bo Luan was known throughout Haicheng's business world for his vicious temper and ruthless methods. The city's powerful and wealthy would dare to compete with anyone for business, but never with Bo Luan. They feared making money only to lose their lives before they could enjoy it. And yet the Wen family had sent their gentle-looking daughter abroad. She brazenly stole Bo Luan's business, tamped down his fury, and rescued the person he meant to punish. Bo Luan lifted his handsome face slightly, a smile curling at the corner of his lips. In the gentlest voice, he said the cruelest words. "Wen Yi, are you ready for me to make your life miserable?" Wen Yi had spent ten years adored by everyone around her, until her biological father drove her abroad and forbade her from ever setting foot in the country again. Twelve years later, her father's illegitimate son was imprisoned for drug use. She knew her chance had come. Even if it meant stealing Bo Luan's business, she dared to do it. -- To take control of the Wen family, Wen Yi fought tooth and nail to snatch business from Bo Luan. From banquets to nightclubs, even in bed, she had to come out on top. A friend asked her, "Yi, do you like him?" Wen Yi casually brushed it off. "It's just business." Bo Luan, listening from around the corner, pinned Wen Yi against the dining table. "Just business?" He kissed her hard. "Hah, it doesn't look that way to me."
