Fox let out a quiet breath and turned his emerald eyes slightly. His fingers, holding a pink gemstone, turned it over gently. The white mist soon vanished into the air.
"Aww~ You're so cold~" Gojo Satoru pouted, putting on a high-pitched voice to show his displeasure.
"Gross... What is it?" Fox stopped moving his hand. The pink gemstone glimmered softly in the moonlight.
The pale blue eyes that had been sparkling with amusement moments ago were now as cold as ice. The next second, sunglasses hid them. "Hey, that Special Grade... Did you do it?"

A shrine.
The man removed his hood and, with a forceful flick of his fingers, tossed the much-coveted "Heart of the Goddess of Love" into the courtyard pond. The pink-and-white fox ears atop his silver hair twitched, looking hazy and dreamlike in the moonlight.
"Oh? You're back?" Kogitsunemaru approached slowly in his wooden sandals. He lifted a hand in greeting, then curled his lips into a smile, revealing sharp canine teeth. "Need little Fox's help?"

In a dark, deep alley, a hooded man walked slowly, emerging from the shadows into the light.

Fox's ears twitched as moonlight illuminated the lower half of his face. He stopped and looked up toward the alley's entrance.
There, a young man with beautiful short, reddish-purple hair stood frozen, his brown eyes trembling.
