Seven years ago, when they were still in elementary school, Chen Yuan left without a word because of family circumstances. Lin Qi spent seven whole years looking for him.
When they met again, Chen Yuan transferred into Lin Qi's class. During a lesson, Lin Qi heard her mumble his name in her sleep.
On New Year's Day, he made a wish while releasing a floating lantern: "May Qi always be by my side." His friends teased him, saying, "You got it backward. It should be 'May my wish come true and always stay by your side.' How can you make a wish so carelessly to a floating lantern?" He just smiled without explaining.
