Yesterday's Stars

After the "Ruins Era," when technology had collapsed, the four regions of Dongyuan, West District, Nancheng, and Beiyu each stood on their own.

But the G5218 virus, commonly known as "Black Obsidian," erupted from the "Pandora Ruined City." As people struggled to survive and find shelter amid a new crisis, some became bargaining chips in the hands of others.

History would call it the "Black Obsidian Era."

The siblings Cheng Jinxue and Cheng Yuanfeng are swept into the turbulent undercurrents of Dongyuan. Their fates remain uncertain, but they feel their way forward through the ruins of the past, each searching for their own path.

Until they arrive beneath that desolate city on the Sea of Life and Death, abandoned for many years.

Dongyuan wants to be the blazing sun of this age, while ordinary people like them are no more than faint fireflies.

But even the blazing sun must set, while fireflies shine until their dying breath.

* A post-apocalyptic wasteland punk setting. Soft sci-fi. An ensemble cast, as suggested by "Stars of Yesterday" in the title.

* The first 10,000 words are setup, with no protagonist yet. The female and male leads are twin siblings, not a couple, and each has their own romance.

* Three main couples.

Theme: Even the blazing sun must set, while fireflies shine until their dying breath.
