Of Course Everyone Loves a Saint

001 was a Saintly System. A saintly person must be kindhearted and selfless, willing to sacrifice themselves for others, living by the principle, “If I don't go to hell, who will?” So it bound itself to Shi Mu, a saintly second female lead who had no special talents and only knew how to cause trouble. Her famous deeds included, but weren't limited to: When the protagonist's group was fleeing, she wanted to save a stranger they found by the roadside. When the protagonist's group was fighting, she silently wept at the sight of the bodies on the ground. When the protagonist's group was recuperating, she lit a fire to cook and attracted a horde of magical beasts. In the end, the protagonist's group only abandoned her right before the finale, after they could no longer put up with her. 001 consoled itself. So what if she was the second female lead? At least she was truly saintly. Besides, with it helping behind the scenes, it was sure to top the performance rankings this time! So, as soon as the binding was complete, 001 teleported over a gravely wounded, unconscious boy. At the same time, a line of text appeared before Shi Mu: A wounded boy lies before you. He is the future ruler of the Demon Realm. 001 looked at her expectantly. Shi Mu paused. Looking at the boy she'd ordered her underlings to dispose of just fifteen minutes ago, now standing alive and well before her, she furrowed her delicate brows and smiled gently. “Thanks for the warning. I'll finish him off myself.” 001: ??? *Bonus Scene* While fleeing with the protagonist's group, Shi Mu saved a boy whose origins were unknown. That night, after everyone had fallen asleep, several pigeons conjured from spiritual energy flapped their wings and woke Shi Mu to deliver messages. “Why did you save him? Don't you love me anymore?” ×n Shi Mu gave them all the same reply: “Don't be silly. I just felt sorry for him.” Of course a saint loves everyone equally. She just doesn't want anyone to be sad.
