The Catlike Way of Spoiling Someone

Demons and reapers have been enemies for generations.

Demons believe in free love, while reapers are a bunch of obsessive lunatics. They brand their lovers' souls with deep marks that they can't escape, even after reincarnation.

The conflict between demons and reapers has lasted for millions of years. Now their battlefield has shifted to the human world, and the little demon Dan Xia has gone to great lengths to make it there.

[Heh heh heh~ Humans, here I come! I love humans the most!]

But the first creature he meets in the human world... is a reaper, and the strongest one at that. He even gets thrown out as bait.

I'm doomed!!!

Bai Chuanyan picks up the little prey, ready to strike.

"A catch. Time to die... Hm? A human?"

So the reaper takes the little demon back to his lair. Every day, the little demon trembles as he hides his secret identity, while getting treated like a cat and cuddled.

No carbon-based lifeform could ever like a reaper. It's as if they can see at a glance the souls burning fiercely within them, and anyone who gets close is burned to ashes. Perhaps the laws of the universe pity them, and bind them to their beloved with an irresistible shackle.

But at their core...

[All things can be bound together, but reapers are doomed to live forever in solitude.]

And now, the cat he has spoiled says to him:

"Let hatred destroy itself, or whatever."

"I want to live as a human, not as a demon."

"So now, look at me and take my hand."
