Avoiding every major plot point, Ye Chichi diligently cultivates, quietly settles into a leisurely life, and occasionally teases her junior fellow apprentice. She's living in peaceful comfort.
Until one day, she starts thinking about leaving the mountain. The usually aloof and self-controlled Immortal Venerable pins her against the bed and grips her wrist tightly, his eyes fragile, like a puppy about to be abandoned by its owner. "You think you can run after sleeping with me? Not a chance."
