They have different personalities and are of different ages. In this one-of-a-kind world, the one thing they have in common is that each of them found a stone box claiming to be Traveling Little Wu.
Then they all got a sorcerer boyfriend.
World 1: [Mature, gentle local insect master X Geto, who says he's a cult leader but is actually a high schooler]
The insect master Xun Yan finds a strangely dressed, one-armed man in the narrow gap between life and death. The man claims to be a retired guardian of humanity.
Xun Yan: Got it, a magical girl.
The curse user Geto clearly remembers dying at the hands of his best friend. But when he opens his eyes, he's told he's transmigrated through time and space, and that a supernatural creature called an "insect" has taken up residence in his brain.
Geto: Got it, a chuuni monkey.
World 2: [A contract holder who can turn into a black cat X Nanami, a finance worker who adopted a black cat]
Mangzhong is a contract holder who can turn into a cat. After transmigrating, he wanders alone for a long time.
People in big cities are cold, and food is hard to come by. Mangzhong doesn't want to work hard, so he cons his kind (big) and (poor) Mr. Nanami into taking him in.
Then one day, the kind man, having successfully changed careers, doesn't come home.
World 3: [A genius animal caretaker who went from manga artist to cat cafe owner X the shameless high schooler Gojo, who dressed as a girl to meet his online date]
Up-and-coming manga artist Tsukishita Mirai meets an enthusiastic online sweetheart, Gogo-ko. Though the other person is spoiled and dramatic, says things that cut deep, can't open a bottle cap, and is a head taller than him, he still loves "her."
Later, they break up.
Two months later, they run into each other on the street.
Tsukishita Mirai watches as the strongest sorcerer makes both monsters and buildings vanish with a wave of his hand: "..."
The strongest sorcerer looks at the current cat cafe owner, surrounded by cats and with a whole family in tow: "..."
World 4: [A retired cultivator and current cursed tool maker, a cheerful blacksmith who gets straight to the point X the pale pretty boy Toji, the Heavenly Restriction's tyrant]
At some point, a little jewelry store appears on the streets of Tokyo. Although the strange accessories on display all seem to have questionable taste, what it really sells are dangerous cursed tools.
Naturally, such a shop attracts sorcerer assassins who use up cursed tools one after another, have money to gamble on horse races, but no money for food.
Jiang Han: No credit.
Toji: I'll pay with my body.
Jiang Han: ...I suppose I could consider it.
World 5: [Traveling Little Wu is going home.]
