Beloved Natsume

My other novel, Don't Mess with the Elementalists, is being written in advance and is already generating plenty of buzz! Click to see forest and fire-and-ice heroes battle cursed spirits. Bookmark it now so you won't lose track of it. If you're interested, please give it a look! Pretty please QAQ

Six-year-old Natsume was escorted to a courtyard called the Hidden World. By his side was a plump, lazy calico cat, but he was not lonely at all, because every so often he would go on a journey and meet new friends.

Whether they were jujutsu sorcerers who often fought cursed spirits, an elementary school student who brought a murder case wherever he went, or a clan of kings from a bar...

Everyone was so kind to him. Natsume thought they were all talented people who spoke so nicely, and he liked them so much. But if he said that out loud, Master Cat would get upset again.

Everyone: Where did this heartwarming cutie come from? I'll look after you from now on!

Then they realized that Natsume was the one looking after them.

When they found out they weren't Natsume's only family: No way! I'm the one Natsume likes best!

Watching the people squabble nonstop, Master Cat leisurely licked his paws. Hmph, foolish humans.

Pairing with Master Cat; no romance before adulthood.

Probably a group-pampering story. I want Natsume to be both handsome and adorable.

The timeline is all over the place, the plot is fragmented, and the worlds are all mixed together.

Basically, it's like going shopping with Nanami, getting handed a dumpling by the Dragon Maid, then having Hozuki pass you a bottle of water as you walk by, while the big brother Omata Rido instinctively hides the beer in his hand, only to realize that Yato has snuck over and drunk a can. Something like that.

Coming soon: The Cat Detective Agency

The Cat Detective Agency is a newly released role-playing game that combines detective work with adorable pets. Though it isn't very famous, players have given it rave reviews.

Yukimura, a longtime cat lover who is allergic to cat fur, is an especially devoted fan. So when he heard that a new version of the game was about to be released, he fought tooth and nail to get into the closed beta. Who could have guessed...

I like cats, but I don't want to become one!

Yukimura stared at his soft, tender paws and screamed inwardly.

But he still had to play the game properly. It definitely wasn't because he was captivated by the cats' beauty!

As for those who think they've already won a cat over, what ulterior motives could a cat possibly have? It just eats and runs.

The abandoned cat owners include a fellow detective from Yokohama, a young detective group from Beika Town, a king with a sword on his head, a king who is a slime...

Unlockable characters: Ragdoll, Siamese, little orange cat, tabby... Come pick your favorite well-behaved kitty!

There isn't much detective work in this story. The author has almost no hair left.

To be continued.

Theme: Children raised with love and kindness can be gentle and strong when faced with hardships and challenges.
