Meteor Street Funeral Services, From Start to Finish

.

Ran Yu, the proudest creation of the Ran Family Paper Effigy Shop, has been crowned its guard duty champion for four years running. He is an outstanding paper effigy with twelve older siblings and four younger ones.

As the only paper effigy in the shop to develop sentience, Ran Yu has seen all kinds of things while accompanying the shopkeeper. He thought he could remain unshaken even if Mount Tai crumbled before him, until one day he discovered he had been dumped in a huge, foul-smelling pile of garbage.

Ran Yu: QAQ

In this place called Meteor City, filth, chaos, killing, and death are constant companions, yet there isn't even one decent funeral parlor!

Ran Yu spots a business opportunity and takes up the banner, determined to carry on his hometown's funeral traditions. But before that... he needs to figure out how to reattach the arm that fell off.

[Ran Family Funeral Parlor]

[We provide a diverse range of personalized services and accept custom orders for burial clothes, coffins, and paper effigies.]

[For civilized funerals that benefit us all. Quality materials, or your money back tenfold.]

[Also, the shopkeeper is not for sale.]

The pairing is Hisoka.

Warnings: 1. The protagonist is not human! He is not human!! He is an honest-to-goodness paper effigy, and does not share human perceptions or values!!

2. This is a wish-fulfillment power fantasy. I'll do my best to keep it on track. Feel free to share your opinions in the comments. I don't mind being criticized, as long as you don't drag my parents or ancestors into it and your criticism makes sense.

3. The protagonist's identity will never be exposed. As long as I kill fast enough, there will never be a love rival showdown (not really).
