I logged into the Magic Network's new education system, "Harry Potter: Magic Awakened."
I secretly chose Slytherin.
Then I started drawing cards.
After spending all my pocket money in one go, I clutched my empty Golden Card collection and wept the tears of the weak:
"So much for us slinging Avada Kedavra at each other after class, or using the Water Prison and Cruciatus Curse whenever we meet! We're best friends who explore the Forbidden Forest together every day, so how did you get the full Death Eaters set in just 40 draws, while all I got was the guaranteed Lightning card..."
So, with a deck full of White Magic cards, all I could do was take Uncle George's giant fireworks deck to school every day and beat up my classmates through my tears.
Then, by accident, I transmigrated to more than a decade earlier, to the Hogwarts where Uncle Harry was still a student.
Here, you don't need to draw cards to learn spells!
You can get Gold Spell Cards for free from the school library!
You don't need to rely on luck to learn the Three Unforgivable Curses. You can master them just by studying!
This must be a paradise for magic, right?
I carried on the same tenacious spirit I showed in Slytherin house battles, diligently crushed the trash in my way, interrogated every black-robed stranger, and happily beat up my classmates on a regular basis. At last, I lived up to expectations and completed my collection of every Gold Card!
Waaah, I've finally become a proper first-year at Hogwarts, too.
"Doesn't this deserve a celebration?"
Isn't it cheerful?
"Why are you all making such a disappointing, frightened face?"
Why are you so scared? It's disgusting.
[Protagonist's real name: Flority Fred Granger-Weasley]
[She transmigrates to the era before the books. The game system is an external terminal, like the one in Yu-Gi-Oh!]
The protagonist is from the postwar generation, the daughter of Hermione and Ron. Her middle name honors Fred, who died in the war.
(But nobody ever told the heroine about Fred, so after she transmigrates, she's surprised: "There are two Uncle Georges here!")
She's naturally cold-blooded, the type to giggle when using Dark Magic on people.
Notes:
1. I originally wanted to write a Death Eater faction story, but when I opened the game, I suddenly felt overwhelmed: Have I even drawn the Unforgivable Curses? Do I know how to play my Bellatrix deck? Am I qualified to write a Death Eater faction story?
2. Before the heroine was born, she was attacked by a Dementor and nearly died. She has trouble empathizing with others, but she grew up cherished by Gryffindor, so she seems perfectly normal on the outside.
3. The heroine was taught to obey the law by her Auror relatives from childhood, so breaking every bone in someone's body still counts as lawful self-defense.
4. No house bashing.
5. The pairing isn't decided. Maybe everyone has a one-sided crush on her, since the author loves writing that sort of thing.
Theme: Believe in yourself and create miracles!
