Starting as a Beauty Pageant Champion

Whenever people look back on the beauty pageants of Hong Kong City's Golden Age, someone always laments the fate of Li Sisi, the stunning runner-up of the 21st Miss Hong Kong pageant. Rumor has it that she was supposed to be a favorite to win that year's Miss Hong Kong pageant. Sadly, despite all the expectations, she ended up as runner-up. After that pageant, people not only lamented the unfair treatment of the runner-up, but also saw the contestants' looks take a sharp downturn. As a result, "You're uglier than a Miss Hong Kong contestant" became a popular saying around town for a while. Yet while people were still lamenting her fate, Li Sisi spent only a short time in show business before marrying into a wealthy family and retiring from the spotlight to become a rich man's wife. From then on, the fairy had fallen into the mortal world. The glamour that once dazzled everyone faded, and only the occasional scandal in the gossip magazines, along with photos of her beauty still shining through her haggard appearance, offered a glimpse of the grace of the woman once called "the last beauty pageant legend of Hong Kong City." * One day, she woke from a dream to find herself once more a naive young girl, before she became a rich man's wife. Looking back on the people and events that had appeared only in the deepest reaches of her midnight dreams, and the choices she had once made wrong, would she finally get the chance to make amends and change things? Then she would start with the beauty pageant that had first sent her down the path to ruin. This time, no one else would take the crown!
