(Coming soon: A Rough Man Dotes on His Wife in the Sixties)
(This is my first time writing, so please be kind.)
(The story is entirely fictional and has nothing to do with real history. Just enjoy it for fun~)
Blurb: After a car accident, Song Yan returns to the era when educated youths were sent to the countryside. He becomes the son of a landlord and, by a twist of fate, marries Su Wan, an educated youth sent to the countryside. Thus begins his life of doting on his wife.
People think Su Wan, who married the son of a landlord, must go hungry and cold every day, never get a taste of meat, and never return to the city, spending her whole life in a village in the countryside.
But in reality:
Song Yan: "Rest in the shade. I'll do the work."
"Braised pork for dinner today?"
"Drink more brown sugar water."
"Keep some candy in your pocket. Have a piece whenever you're bored, just to sweeten your mouth."
"Missing home? I'll take you to visit your parents tomorrow."
(Thank you to everyone who clicked~)
Coming soon~ Add it to your collection if you're interested~
A Rough Man Dotes on His Wife in the Sixties
Wei Yan spent ten years fighting to survive in the apocalypse, building up a strong, muscular body. Who could have known that after accidentally eating a sleep-inducing herb, he would wake up as Wei Er, the second son of the Wei family in Peach Blossom Village in the 1960s?
Feeling his "skinny ribs," Wei Yan clicked his tongue in disgust. Fine, ten years of muscle gone overnight.
At least, though the sixties are poor, there's no shortage of fresh vegetables. As for meat, Wei Yan looks at the mountains all around him and knows he won't have to worry.
Food and clothes are no problem, and he doesn't have to fight zombies every day. All he has to do is tend the fields, and life is so peaceful and carefree. Wei Yan is very pleased.
Even better, he can finally have the wife he never dared dream of in the apocalypse.
The new educated youth sent to the countryside looks just right: lovely and delicate, with a soft voice and a slender waist he could encircle with one hand. Wei Yan runs his tongue along the roof of his mouth. Wouldn't it be wonderful to bring this little wife home?
As for the villagers saying she's too delicate for farm work, is a grown man like him really unable to support a young woman?
Female lead's perspective: Both her parents are factory workers, and as their only child, she has been pampered since she was little.
She never imagined she would have to go to the countryside one day.
Sowing seeds, cutting pigweed, harvesting wheat, gathering rapeseed... Song Luyao sniffles. By herself, she manages to cut just half a basket of pigweed in a day. The pigs are still hungry, and she's covered her hands in blisters.
Life is hard enough, and now there's that man in the village who keeps bullying her...
She thinks of his hot hands pressing against her waist, his scorching breath against her neck. Song Luyao's cheeks flush and her legs go weak.
But... he's also so good to her. He gives her brown sugar buns, braised pork, fish and shrimp, canned food, and powdered milk. She's even gained two pounds compared to when she was at home!
Most importantly, he protects her. Song Luyao touches her burning cheeks. Marrying him... maybe that wouldn't be so bad!
Rough man X delicate girl
A sweet, indulgent, feel-good story for beginners. It's all sweetness and wish fulfillment, with no logic whatsoever.
Theme: Self-reliance and strength
My favorite novel has ended like this. I can't bear to let it go. Thank you so much to the author!
