This story was inspired by Roger Zelazny's science fiction novel Lord of Light. Its world is an alternate setting based on Hebrew and Canaanite mythology, with lots of original worldbuilding. It's a chaotic CP mix, so read with caution if that's not your thing.
The story is divided into a present-day arc and a past arc, told from the perspectives of two male leads. The past arc is primarily told from a god's perspective, while the present-day arc is primarily told from Lucifer's.
