The Spoiled Brat Becomes a Little Fool in the 1980s

Nuan Ying, editor-in-chief of a fashion magazine, is notorious for being a diva. Models, photographers, and even major brands have all suffered at her hands, and they pray to heaven that she'll be taken away as soon as possible!

After an accident, she transmigrates into the body of a blind, dimwitted girl in the 1980s.

Her stepfather's biological daughter has been married for seven years and has given birth to three daughters. A fortune-teller says her stepsister isn't destined to have a son, and that if she wants one, she'll need to borrow someone else's womb.

Her stepsister sets her sights on this blind, simple-minded younger sister.

Nuan Ying: What? Have you all got a death wish?

Later, her stepsister and brother-in-law sob and wail as they see her off.

Nuan Ying turns around and, thanks to her beautiful voice, becomes an announcer at the village radio station. She also sets her sights on the handsome doctor in the neighboring clinic...

Bai Yuxing is an educated youth from the city.

He is handsome, but never shows his emotions. He has been here for over six months, and no one has seen him say a single word to any woman. He's as untouchable as the poplar tree at the village entrance.

Nuan Ying leaves the radio station, swaying her hips as she taps her little bamboo stick in rhythm. Seeing him approach, she pokes the stick under his white coat...

"Hey, what's wrong with you? Can't you see where you're going?"

Bai Yuxing really is blind. He actually fell for the little simpleton the Gu family had thrown out after being begged by every relative under the sun.

Some people even saw:

Dr. Bai taking the little simpleton for a walk.

Dr. Bai buying the little simpleton candied hawthorn.

The day he removed her blindfold, Dr. Bai knelt on one knee. "Nuan Ying, I'm not going back to the city. I'll stay here and count the stars with you."
