Chu Chen is an obscure online novelist. He doesn't write for money, only to vent the gloom in his heart.
He is deeply cynical and bears immense hostility toward the world, with one exception.
That person is Qi Sheng, his pen pal since the first year of middle school. They tell each other everything, like kindred spirits.
-
Chu Chen died a year before Qi Sheng got out of prison.
-
Six years in prison cut Qi Sheng off from the world. He thought he had something to look forward to, but that hope had unilaterally said goodbye to him.
And as if one disaster weren't enough, he died on the third day after his release.
The afterlife was a pretty grim place.
The quick transmigration System that had bound itself to him without permission was just as grim, always assigning him grim tasks.
Qi Sheng: Oh well, I'll take it one day at a time. Every day I get is a bonus.
-
World One:
Qi Sheng: Huh, this world's plot feels kind of familiar. It's like a novel Chu Chen wrote.
-
World Two:
Qi Sheng: Case closed. This is a world from one of Chu Chen's novels!
-
In short: After a man dies, a System binds him and sends him around to transmigrate and complete missions. He then discovers that the mission worlds come from novels written by his best friend, and eventually falls in love with the protagonist from his friend's novels, who is actually a fragment of his best friend.

A few warnings:
1. My writing is garbage, my ideas are a little rubbish, and the logic is all over the place. I don't like getting into conflicts with people, so I'm very bad at writing confrontations. If the cringe makes you want to kick a hole in a mansion, well... then we can say we earned a whole house together!
2. Qi Sheng is really weak, extremely weak. He's a useless guy with only an elementary school education and little will to survive. He gets through each world thanks to his kind heart and his CP's help, so this is not a power fantasy. It won't be satisfying.
3. Chu Chen started writing at thirteen. He was just a kid, so his writing was terrible and very dark, and the worlds are full of bugs.
4. Not every world will have romance. There might be a gender-swapped world, but both of them will be transformed, so neither will be left out!
5. In one world, both of them will be fragments of Chen, but there won't be a threesome! We're faithful to one another from beginning to end!
6. I'm thinking about adding a reversal of roles in one special world. If you can't accept that, I'll leave it out. Feel free to tell me in the comments!
