“If Voldemort made my childhood a prison, and Hogwarts gave me my first real home, then Professor Severus Snape gave me the freedom of the entire world.”
Loretta Delasalle
This story begins when she is eleven and continues through age nineteen, with ongoing revisions. The heroine's full name is Loretta Delasalle, but she prefers to be called Lynn Delasalle. She is Voldemort's daughter, of mixed English and French heritage, and eight years older than Harry. Her story with Professor Snape begins during her school years and continues until after the Battle of Hogwarts.
In Severus Snape's younger, more vulnerable years, Lily was his sunshine. He understood the hope that a ray of light could bring to the endless night, so he gave her a little of that sunshine. It became her greatest comfort through a bewildering youth. And so, she loved him all her life.
That is why this story is called The Professor, or Les Professeurs in French. They were once teacher and student, and companions who walked together along the boundary between light and darkness. He was her professor, and the spark in the long night of her lonely journey. So she chose to follow him for a lifetime and walk the road ahead by his side.
Theme: Two lonely and unfortunate souls find warmth in each other's arms in a turbulent era
The writing style is better, and the professor is also very restorative, but the copywriting could be a little more streamlined, including the fact that the name of the heroine Lin Yi sounds a little bit sloppy, so I almost made a detour.
