Confession Livestream

While in college, Lin Chaomu becomes a singing streamer. To avoid disturbing his roommates, he rents a place off campus by himself.

When he puts out a call for a roommate, one of his college classmates shows up. They aren't close, just acquaintances.

Curious, Lin Chaomu asks, "What brings you here? Not happy living in the dorm?"

Shen Zhuoyan gives an unconcerned smile. "It's not that. I just want to see what it's like to rent a place off campus."

As roommates and classmates, Lin Chaomu wakes Shen Zhuoyan every day, makes him breakfast, goes to school with him, and trades barbs with him.

Gradually, Lin Chaomu realizes he seems to have fallen for his roommate, but he never finds the courage to confess to Shen Zhuoyan.

On his birthday, Lin Chaomu goes out of his way to prepare a feast so he and Shen Zhuoyan can have dinner together and, while he's at it... confess his feelings.

But Shen Zhuoyan heads out without eating dinner. When Lin Chaomu asks where he's going, he smiles and replies, "On a date."

He hasn't even been in a relationship, yet he already feels heartbroken. That night, Lin Chaomu, who never drinks, goes out and gets drunk alone. In his drunken state, he starts a livestream and sings a few sad love songs for his viewers, crying his eyes out as he sings. Unaware of what he's doing, he blurts out, "Shen Zhuoyan, I like you."

Just then, someone knocks several times on the door, which was already ajar. A person walks in, holding roses in one hand and a phone in the other.

On the phone, Lin Chaomu's livestream is playing.
