The Gossip in This Melodramatic Novel

[Pure melodrama] [Timid, blunt bodyguard X cold-faced, sensitive CEO] On the very first day Chi Dao transmigrated into a book, she ran into a working person's favorite spectacle: someone catching a mistress in the company lobby. Chi Dao: ! Chi Dao: Good heavens, what on earth is this juicy drama? With no time to figure out what was going on, Chi Dao immediately appeared in the lobby. She pretended to mop the floor while straining her ears to catch the gossip: The pitiful woman was sobbing nonstop, clutching the CEO across from her, a woman with a face as cold as frost and an imposing chill about her. Every word came through her tears: "Sister Xi, I was your childhood sweetheart! We were even going to get engaged. How could you treat me like this?" The CEO: "Why couldn't I?" Chi Dao was stunned. What a shameless, unapologetic woman! Then the wronged woman continued, "But what can she give you? Only I, only I can give you everything you want!" The CEO: "She gave me a child." The moment those words were spoken, the whole place fell silent. Everyone stared, wide-eyed. Chi Dao wondered why this story was so melodramatic. Did cheating always have to come with a child? Then, in the next second, someone grabbed her and pulled her over. The CEO took her by the arm and said expressionlessly to the wronged woman, "You wanted to know who it was? It's her." The CEO: "I'm carrying her child." Chi Dao: ! Chi Dao: ?? Chi Dao's vision went black, then black again. When she finally focused, the synopsis of the book had at last finished loading in her mind.
