[Main story complete, bonus chapters updating]
As king, Asumi made a mistake.
He fell in love with someone who would never love him: Wufu, the Buddhist son of this dynasty. A devout believer through ten cycles of reincarnation, a living Buddha on the verge of enlightenment. Buddha saves all living beings, but his Buddha alone refuses to save him.
Asumi went mad. He did everything reckless to Wufu, ruining his spiritual cultivation and tarnishing the reputation of the Buddhist faith. As punishment, Asumi lost his grasslands, snow-capped mountains, and royal city. In the end, he and the Buddha he had imprisoned died together in a blaze.
Wufu did not become a Buddha, but a Buddhist son could be reborn.
So, as Asumi lay dying, he wondered: Could he be reborn, too?
Later, Asumi learned his lesson. When he stood before Wufu again, he kept his fangs in check.
After being reborn, Wufu devoted himself to breaking their ill-fated bond, but this time
Ami was so gentle that people couldn't help bullying him.
Ami hated scheming, yet was forced to become entangled in it.
Ami had been frail from birth, making people worry about him.
Ami,
he still loves me.

But when Wufu took a wrong turn in a secret passage and found a hidden chamber at its end, its walls covered in paintings of their past life, he realized he had been wrong.
Ami looked at him with the same loving eyes as ever, then smiled sweetly and personally stabbed him through the chest.
"Everyone says I'm a hopeless romantic, so madly in love with you that I've lost my mind. They said it in my last life, and they say it again in this one. So I wanted to see your heart
Is it some kind of love potion, making me love you so much? Sometimes I really want to kill you."
*
The young emperor was bloodthirsty. This month, he had ordered the execution of thirty people, and at last Wufu could no longer stand by without a word.
He sighed and asked, "Do you have even a shred of compassion left?"
Asumi laughed. He swayed the sword in his hand, pointing its tip at Wufu. "Of course. My whole compassionate heart is tied to you."

"The One Who Builds a Nest [Nonhuman]"
Wen Man should have been a perfect lover: beautiful, cool, yet gentle. There was nothing to fault about him.
He even had some frighteningly obsessive admirers. Fighting through the competition to win the beauty's heart would be quite the ego boost.
But Wen Man has been single all this time.
He often goes on blind dates, and right from the start he tells his dates what he expects from marriage:
His partner's gender, age, height, and appearance don't matter,
but family must come first. There must be no trace of a third person in their home.
Some people think this is his tactful way of expressing his devotion to love and are about to promise him just that, when Wen Man gives a slight shake of his head and clarifies: That's not it.
"I don't want a third person in the house, not even parents, housekeepers, or guests. Not the slightest trace or scent."
His demanding love puts ordinary people off,
but always attracts the obsessive and the dangerous.
There are beings unknown to the world. Among them is a kind of creature that has only one partner for its entire life and puts that partner above all else. It protects and cares for its partner in every way, materially and emotionally. Only its partner's approval and need can make it feel happy.
This species is called "Argos" by researchers, meaning those who are loyal only to their partners.
More interestingly, Argos experience a periodic vulnerable phase. They abandon all social activities and focus completely on building a love nest for their partners.
After a blind date, Wen Man married a man named Si Rong.
At the time, he didn't know that his husband
was an "Argos."
Oh, and I forgot to mention: Wen Man is a researcher.
His research institute recently discovered that an entirely new, unknown species exists in this world.
"They" live by consuming love.
[Reading Guide]
Modern alternate setting where same-sex marriage is legal, with plenty of nonhuman elements.
The shou has a 100% tendency to attract dangerous people, with a slight harem-protagonist quality, but that doesn't mean everyone falls in love with him.
This story is a little strange, mildly frightening, and a bit neurotic, but it is also a sweet story about two people choosing each other.

Finished spreading flowers! But it felt like it ended so quickly π_π I originally thought that I would talk about other princes and kingdoms, but I didn't expect that E was defeated in the end (.) I thought it would be a battle of wits route, but Asumi swallowed it up in one go. The part where Ban Er sacrifices himself made me a little confused. It felt a bit rushed (?) And a bit unprepared. I guessed that Ban Er would take the initiative to sacrifice, but the atmosphere was not set off well. Rather, it felt like it was ending hastily. There were a lot of battles for the throne described above, but in the end it turned out to be an ending where one king swallowed up all things. It was a bit top-heavy, or maybe it felt like it was a bit half-way? Maybe the extra chapter will explain it clearly, but I feel that a good work should explain everything clearly at the end and solve everything. The extra chapter should be the icing on the cake, rather than supplementing the previous plot in large sections (.) I don't mean to criticize or provide writing guidance (after all, it's all over now and it seems useless for me to say anything else). Anyway, I'm looking forward to the extras and the author's next book! The advance copy looks very novel wwww
He is the Buddha who cuts off his flesh and feeds it to eagles. He is the Buddha who sacrifices his body to the devil.
Love this book so much!! This kind of subject matter is so rare.
Extras are coming. Extras are coming. Extras are coming from all directions. I really want to see extras.
Finished with flowers?:.?ヽ(*??`)??.:?
Finished spreading flowers! I have been following the update intermittently for a long time. When I saw the notification that the text was finished, I couldn't help but sigh, ah! Still pretty fast. Looking forward to Ayan's extra OvO
Quietly ask the author if there are any more articles.
I really like this kind of stream of consciousness writing.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
