Original heroine Moss x Cedric
Moss Swock, a Slytherin, is like a patch of damp moss that has turned yellow and scorched from going too long without sunlight. The main story is titled The Seqiula on the Tundra, but if it were named after the romance, it might be called Moss and Sunflowers.
When I first started writing this story, I admit I wanted Moss to change Cedric's fate and save him from falling. But as I worked out the story, I gradually realized that saving Cedric should not be Moss's destiny, and Cedric is perfectly capable of saving himself. He simply lacked some opportunities to grow as a supporting character swept along by the tide of fate in the original books. Through Moss, I hope to give Ced those opportunities back.
Moss's character came about because of Cedric, but Moss was absolutely not born for Cedric.
They are simply children who are lonely or have been hurt by being treated coldly, sharing with each other the sunlight the world would never have given them fairly.
