Su Li got hooked on a casual game called Realm of Creation.
In it, you could design characters, races, and entire worlds, immersively experiencing the joy of becoming a creator god.
Su Li spent half a month carefully designing a beauty with every attribute maxed out. He named him Feiluosi, and from then on, whenever he had free time, he would open the game and interact with his beauty.
His beauty had no palace to live in? Build one!
His beauty liked matcha-flavored pastries? Send them over!
A limited-edition teddy bear boosts intimacy? Spend!
Only after maxing out his affection did Su Li find time to create other races.
But the popularity of casual games comes and goes quickly. Before long, final exams arrived, and Su Li was busy dealing with real life. Little by little, he stopped logging into the world he had created.
And so, the god disappeared.
In the game_
A thousand years after the god's departure, the leaders of the various races, restless for something to do, began competing to see who was the god's most beloved favorite.
Inside the Demon King's palace, a few simple-minded little demons chattered about the information they'd gathered from all over.
"Apparently, not long after His Majesty was born, the god created a new race. For a while, he kept doting on the fairies with transparent wings."
"No, I heard it was the beastfolk with fox ears and fluffy tails. The god really liked them."
"And the winged folk! The god gave them the color of the sky for their eyes. What a generous gift. The god must really love them."
"Come to think of it, why doesn't the god come back to visit His Majesty?"
"Was His Majesty... abandoned by the god?"
Upon the throne, Feiluosi listened to the demons whispering and silently lowered his lashes. His slender fingers tightened around the teddy bear Su Li had given him, holding it a little closer.
Then one day, Su Li transmigrated.
When he opened his eyes again, he discovered he had become the beloved (crossed out) coveted god adored by every race.
The bad news: He'd maxed out their affection, and all the kings of the races looked at him a little strangely.
The worse news: The strangest one kept him under lock and key. Nobody else was allowed near him.
