I Use the Noblewoman System to Build Infrastructure (Body-Swapping)

[Unless something comes up, this novel updates between 9 and 12. If there’s no update, I’m either stuck or busy, so don’t wait up, quq.] [Please add my upcoming novel, The Fake Heiress Only Wants to Farm (Transmigrated into a Book), to your reading list! The blurb is at the bottom~] Yu Chu wakes up one day to find that she and a prince have switched bodies, and that she’s acquired a Noble Lady System. System: “Once you’ve read this book from cover to cover and mastered the art of storytelling, you’ll surely win over all the children in the capital and become the ideal noble lady in the hearts of its parents!” Yu Chu nods. “That sounds useful.” Then, under the System’s approving gaze... She starts writing spicy stories about the emperor. System: “?” From then on, juicy gossip fills the capital. Corrupt officials live in fear, nervously clutching their underwear and worrying that tomorrow they’ll find themselves publicly humiliated across the city. System: “Master this cookbook, and you’ll have the key to a man’s stomach. Read it from cover to cover, and you’ll stand out among the noble ladies and become the girl every young master in the capital wants to marry.” Yu Chu nods. “Excellent.” Soon, a new crop appears in the capital. It yields a thousand catties per mu, its fruit can save people from famine, and its stalks and leaves can feed livestock. People weep when they hear about it, and even the cows bellow. System: “? It’s a cookbook. Please show the book some respect.” Yu Chu nods. “I know it’s a cookbook. Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing.” Then, under the System’s despairing gaze... She copies out the book by hand and gives it to the mansion’s head chef. System: “...” System: “All future skill books require proficiency to unlock, and only the two of you can build that proficiency. You can’t do this!” Yu Chu pauses, then silently looks at someone else. Li “Useful Tool” Zirui: “Why are you looking at me?” System: “Hello, I’m the Noble Lady System.” System: “Are you there? I changed my name.” ***************Upcoming Novel Blurb (Tentative)************ Jiang Shuang, an agricultural scientist from a spacefaring age where arable land has run out, transmigrates into a book and becomes the fake heiress of the marquis’s household, who stole another child’s place. The fake heiress is domineering and arrogant, making the real heiress’s sweet and sensible nature look even better by comparison. In the end, the marquis’s household shuts its doors on her, and she becomes the laughingstock of the entire capital. By the time Jiang Shuang arrives, she’s already been thrown out. All she has is a run-down farmstead, given to her to make the marquis’s household look merciful. Jiang Shuang: What a great deal! As everyone watches, hoping for a show, Jiang Shuang quickly packs her little bundle, grabs a carriage, and happily sings her way to the farmstead in the middle of the night. How about some specialty cotton? √ You don’t want some very dark but filling rations? √ You’ll love this fruit-yield improvement technique. √ Desperate to keep a talent like Jiang Shuang, the emperor offers her a noble title and a fortune in treasure, but still feels it isn’t enough. After much thought, he makes the painful decision to offer his younger brother in marriage. Li Chengyue, who has spent ages farming at the estate and is now free labor: “?” Li Chengyue guarded the frontier and fought on the battlefield for his imperial brother, only to be harmed by treacherous men. Gravely wounded, he hid at a farmstead and was rescued. Once he was just strong enough to get out of bed, he clasped his hands in thanks. “Thank you for saving me, miss. I’ll stay here and work for you for a while.” Jiang Shuang asks him three questions in a row: “Can you take measurements? Can you castrate pigs? Can you cut down big branches?” Li Chengyue: “...No.” Jiang Shuang tries again. “Surely you can at least hoe the fields?” Li Chengyue: “...I, I can’t do that either.” Jiang Shuang looks at Li Chengyue, who can’t do anything right, and sighs. “What use are you?” Li Chengyue, who had just beaten a barbarian commander to a pulp, feels the sting of her disdain and lowers his head in shame.
