Sheng An was escaping when Gu Ze happened to save him and take him home. He thought he had found a family, just like all those stray cats. He did find a family, though there was more than one person in it.
In his dreams, a white-haired man claimed to be his father. Sheng An had never met him, but he wasn't averse to him. One day, an aloof beauty who claimed to be his older brother found him and tried to take him away, but eventually gave up because Sheng An didn't want to go. Another time, the father from his dreams came to find him with his husband.
Wait, isn't that a lot of people? Is this a buy-one-get-three deal?
Top's perspective
Gu Ze is Di Ting, an ancient divine beast and the head of the underworld. He holds an exalted position among both humans and gods. Yet even someone as powerful as him has a beloved he has waited over ten thousand years for.
He sank into despair through his long wait, sleeping in its embrace, until one day that person turned into a cat and nestled in his arms.
He stayed by his side as he learned to speak and grew up. You could say that this time, he witnessed his growth and watched over him.
He watched him grow up.
When Sheng An finally came of age and regained his memories, Gu Ze at last won his beloved's heart. From then on, they lived happily, with his wife keeping his bed warm.
