Does a Diligent Schoolgirl Dream of Her Idol Upperclassman? [Vampire Knight]

Aido had always resented that girl.

What made an ordinary human worthy of special attention from Lord Kaname?

Sure, she had big eyes and fair skin, she was the chairman's adopted daughter, and her blood seemed like it might smell sweet. But Yuuki Cross was still just an ordinary human!

From afar, Aido saw Lord Kaname smiling as he stroked Yuuki's head, and his irritation shot through the roof.

Kain Akatsuki had always called Aido's teasing Yuuki because of Lord Kaname "jealousy." So when Aido saw Yuuki chase after Zero Kiryu and throw her arms around that detestable hunter, his dissatisfaction broke through the stratosphere once again, and he realized something had changed.

(Note: This breaks up the canon couples. The pairing is Aido and Yuuki. It was written on a whim, and it's a short story with no logic, outline, research, or literary merit. Updates are irregular. Kaname/Yuuki and Zero/Yuuki are purely familial. Written for the pairing I genuinely shipped.)
