The Test Subject

In the year 2065 of the Star Calendar, a zombie virus swept across the globe. In less than a week, a third of humanity had been infected.

But even in those circumstances, Cheng Xing found a boy who was half human and half zombie (??д?)b. Even more worrying, the boy was 17 and still couldn't talk??? Damn, he couldn't even write, and he knew nothing about everyday life. His intelligence was on the same level as a newborn child's.

It was only when Cheng Xing saw him talking to a zombie who had been infected only recently that he understood just how incredible the boy was.

Cheng Yu: “Hungry, hungry, hungry!”

Cheng Xing (holding a bowl and chopsticks): “Which one of you is hungry?!”

Reluctant guardian seme x tsundere, sweet and silly uke

? The seme and uke are NOT father and son!!! I don't do that ( ?° ???°). The seme is only three years older than the uke. Although I keep saying he's raising a child, it's really more like raising a little brother. Of course, if you can't help seeing the seme as the uke's dad and can't enjoy the story, then steer clear (???`?). That could be a dealbreaker, too.

? The locations in this story are divided into zones A, B, C, and D. In that order, each zone is lower in rank than the one before it. The lower the rank, the lower the quality of the equipment and the scarcer the resources. That's how the zones are organized.
