Tongshi as Empress

Zhu Qingniang was a court historian who served through two reigns. After a year with nothing to do, she summoned the courage to resign on a whim.

Emperor Xiansheng didn't care in the slightest: "You may leave the palace."

The two should have had nothing more to do with each other, until Zhu Qingniang died taking a sword meant for Emperor Xiansheng.

They were both reborn, opening their eyes to the moment Zhu Qingniang had tendered her resignation.

The first thing Emperor Xiansheng did was keep Zhu Qingniang in the palace.

Court Historian of the Xiansheng Era: Empress Zhu alone reigns over the imperial chambers, and the emperor's love for her is beyond measure.
