The Only Human Cub in the Galaxy

Three thousand years after pureblood humans went extinct, beastmen, insectoids, and intelligent bio-androids took over the stars.

The beastmen, created by ancient humans, were deeply enamored with their former masters. They revered humans as objects of faith and became so obsessed that they used fragments of human DNA left behind to create clones.

Cloned pets became all the rage, sparking a buying frenzy.

But because their genes were incomplete, the clones were intellectually impaired and prone to violent outbursts. Most were sick or had physical defects, making them vastly different from true pureblood humans.

Many clones were abandoned by irresponsible owners and left to wander the streets.

Amid the chaos, Mu Dong, a German Shepherd beastman police officer, found a homeless human cub.

The little cub wrapped her arms around his leg, raised her grimy face, and asked in a tiny voice if he was her daddy.

The German Shepherd had planned to coldly take her to the Human Strays Administration Center, but after spending a little time with her, his heart softened.

Just as he finally worked up the nerve to adopt her, he discovered that whenever he looked away, the little cub would turn around and cling to another beastman's leg, pitifully calling them Mommy or Daddy.

And the way the cub clung to people's legs was unexpectedly hardcore.

She cured the long-standing ailment of an arrogant, conceited energy engineer.

A notorious assassin betrayed his organization and became her loyal dog.

A grim, ruthless mercenary survived a meteor storm because of her.

And this seemingly delicate little cub even shone in the finals of the Imperial Military Academy's mecha exercise.

More and more beastmen became captivated by the human cub.

Every little thing about her words and actions was perfect. She could bewitch beastmen with ease and leave them utterly entranced.

Everyone knew human cubs were adorable before adopting one, but the longer they raised her, the cuter she seemed. They never wanted to be apart from her, as if they had developed separation anxiety.

Even leaving her for a single second felt like an eternity, and life suddenly became unbearably dull.

This is terrifying! Can't some beast do something about it?

Human: Just breathing.

Beastmen: What a clever move.

Just as the beastmen were fighting over custody of the cub, a genetic monitoring report from the Imperial Academy of Sciences revealed that she was the only surviving pureblood human in the entire universe.

And the worst part was that the news leaked. Other species across the stars found out, too...
