The Celestial Venerable and the Demon Venerable wanted to visit the human world for fun, but a malfunction in the Mirror of Time and Space sent them to the year 2060. They had been sworn brothers since childhood, but while studying at university, a girl got between them and turned them into enemies. In the end, the misunderstanding was cleared up, but their different races meant they could not live together. So they both gave up their status as gods and demons, became mortals, and stayed together forever.
