After that, she joins Sun Wukong in wreaking havoc in Heaven. Sun Wukong is pinned beneath Five Elements Mountain, while she is sealed inside Guanyin's jade vase. Who knew that the vase contained a whole world of its own? She awakens the invincible Turtle Immortal sleeping inside it, escapes with him, and rescues Sun Wukong. From then on, she rides a turtle in the Western Heaven, amusing herself by tormenting the immortals...
By sheer chance, she falls in love with Yan Yiao, a handsome monk even more dashing than Tang Sanzang. For the monk's future, she joins forces with the invincible Turtle Immortal and Sun Wukong to wreak havoc in the Great Hall of the Great Hero at the Leiyin Temple and at Mount Putuo of the South Sea, forcing the Buddha and Guanyin to agree to let the handsome monk take Tang Sanzang's place on the Journey to the West...
