A Lifetime Without Regrets: Love at Guanshan (A Mulan Retelling)

A note before we begin: After watching Mulan, everyone had their own feelings and reactions. But what I just couldn't accept was that Mulan and Wentai still ended up parting ways for good. Of course, the tears and affection in Mulan's final words, "Thank you, Wentai," are open to each person's interpretation. Maybe everyone feels that they were still happy, even with that ending. Well, I'm a sentimental sort, so since they couldn't spend their lives together in the movie, let me write a story that brings them together!~

That's why I'm writing this. Hehe~ If you don't like it, don't read it!~

You may come across scenes similar to those in the movie. Let me make this clear: I am adapting it, of course, keeping the "essence" and discarding the "dross" (meaning the parts I didn't want to see, not what the words literally mean!).

As for the historical aspects, I'll generally follow the historical record for the major events. But since this is a novel, a lot of it is made up, naturally. Hehe~

Also, those who know me know that I have terrible updating habits. Sometimes I update very frequently, and sometimes only once a month or even once a season (once every three months). So I can't promise when I'll finish this story. I only started working out the outline yesterday, and so far I have just a rough idea. I hope you readers won't rush me too much~ Hehe...
